Chloe graduated from middle school last week and was delighted to be nominated class speaker/valedictorian and to receive the Head of School Award which is the highest award honoring the student who "exemplifies the best of Hillbrook." Many tears were shed, mostly by proud father David who thankfully doesn't wear mascara. Chloe will be off to boarding school near Boston in the Fall, which made the whole graduation just that little bit more emotional for our family who will miss her terribly. Chloe's speech was hilarious and thoughtful and very well received and the party at our place for the whole grade that night was a blast, or so I am told by reliable graduates who attended the festivities. David created a video over the weekend that I share with you now, enjoy!
and for added fun i recently enjoyed watching Chloe perform in the school play where she had a starring role in Seussical the Musical as Maisy, and was cheered on by a large number of family members.
